No One Knows Where Defense Dollars Go

onald Trump knows his vicious proposals to cut to social services have no chance of passing through Congress. It's just the latest hit from his "payback tour". Being nasty makes him happy.
But such nonsense does serve in focusing talk away from where the real budget debate should be. Consider this:
"Even after decades of outrage and auditing mandates from Congress, we taxpayers don’t know where defense dollars go. Congress doesn’t know. Even the Defense Department itself doesn’t know."
