The Cascade Review was founded by current and former journalists looking for an avenue to express opinions outside the normal structures of journalism—we are here to say directly what we think. We have been professional observers for decades, and we can say this: even in the 60’s, when it seemed like America was coming apart at the seams, it wasn’t—not like this. We base our opinions on facts (as we know them). Many won’t like some of it; some won’t like any of it. In any case, here it is.
